Hi everyone. As of now, the mighty Flathead is in great shape and fishing well. We are seeing small golden stones in the afternoons, making for some awesome dry fly opportunities!
The pink worm will definitely get you fish as well. Look for side channels at the bottom of the run where the water slows. The fish are there. Let it hunt!
Get it in there with a little patience and set the hook! Get it while you can because she is going to blow out sooner than later!
There is also a small window on the Blackfoot. Same story there, go now while you can. She will be chocolate milk here soon.
Over on the east side, the big Missouri. We are seeing PMDs already, still blue wings and caddis.
Fishing is a B+ rating right now. But the quality is an A+.
