HALF-DAY TRIP

Pay a 50% deposit per item

You will be charged 50% of the total for the deposit, then the remaining 50% is charged on the day of the trip. 

Cancelation policy: If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled trip, you will be refunded in full, minus the credit card fee. If you cancel within less than 30 days and it is not possible to rebook the guide for the date of the canceled trip, we retain the deposit of 50%. If you cancel on the same day as the trip, you will be charged the full amount of the scheduled trip. We typically do not cancel trips due to weather. Unless there is a chance of danger, we go fishing. Thank you for understanding!

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email receipt. Expect a phone call a couple of days before your trip date with details on meet time and location.

Our guides are licensed and insured in Montana and trained in first aid and CPR.

GUIDED LAKE FISHING CHARTERS ON WHITEFISH & FLATHEAD LAKE

The Flathead Valley is a recreational paradise surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges. We outfit trips on several of the lakes that occupy the valley floor. Bent Fly Fishing offers full-day and half-day fishing trips guided lake fishing trips for trout and other species on Whitefish Lake and Flathead Lake. There is also an opportunity to target bass in the area. Your guide will have all the necessary bait and tackle and provide any instructions needed. We want you to have a great time and enjoy our area as much as we do!

Flathead Lake between Somers and Polson, Montana

Just outside of Kalispell city limits sits the largest freshwater lake on this side of the Mississippi. This crystal-clear lake reaches depths of 350 feet in some places. The ecosystem of Flathead Lake is perfect for the lake trout also known as mackinaw. You could be watching the sun peak over the Swan Range with the wind in your face this summer as you search the depths for a jumbo lake trout.

 Whitefish lake guided fishing trips

When you launch from the dock at Whitefish Lake State Park, you drive straight to Big Mountain and the home of Whitefish Mountain Resort. The ski runs are visible as a dirt track for mountain bikers in the summer. Whitefish Lake runs about 5 miles long and a mile and a half across. It reaches depths of 233 ft in some spots and remains cool through the heat of summer. Lake trout, whitefish, and northern pike are the target species varying on the time of year.

Northern Pike Flathead Lake

You must have a valid Montana Fishing License if you are over the age of 12 for the date you will be fishing. The state of Montana requires youth under 12 years old to wear a life jacket at all times in the boat.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Sunglasses are required but we also recommend a hat, long sleeve shirt, and shoes that can get wet.

*Raingear is always a good idea in Montana*

We provide lunch on full-day trips, snacks on half days, and plenty of water. Feel free to bring along whatever other snacks you would like.
