MARCH IS HERE AND SPRING IS COMING
March hits and it suddenly feels like spring is right around the corner. With all the rain the last couple of days melting snow off the valley floor, its hard to stay focused on finishing our winter projects. The days are finally feeling a little longer and the promise of sunny days seems within reach. The flows of the Flathead River have bumped up, but the color has stayed clear and green. The forecast is calling for the temperatures to drop again in a few days hopefully preventing a blowout.
LETS GO FISHING
Now is a great time to be on the river, away from the busy summer crowds and the fish are hungry! Besides sometimes those willing to brave the weather get rewarded with one of those native winter beasts up from the Lake. We’re nymphing pink in the slow deep holes and looking for even the slightest tick of the bobber. Set the hook and pull in your winter beauty! What are you waiting for?
