Wolf Creek + Craig

Missouri River

Over east, the Missouri is still our bread and butter right now. Flows are currently hovering around 7 grand. The whole river is nymphing great. From Craig down you can find heads! caddis have begun to pop with some March browns. Our favorite the pmd (pale morning dun) is just around the corner so be ready! Missouri bugs:

Dam – Craig

sows. worms. small may fly stuff

Below Craig

worms. mayfly. caddis puppa

Kalispell + Whitefish + Bigfork + Columbia Falls

Flathead River

Our local Flathead River is right on the verge of coming into shape! Be prepared with a nymph rig early. Later in the moring and afternoon start looking for some top water activity.

Should see some stones and larger mayflies.

San juans.

Purple haze.

Your favorite color chubby

Also, a few salmon flies coming off if you know where to look

Lakes

Our smaller local lakes are still a decent option if the high water on the Flathead isn’t your thing.

We also offer half and full-day trips on both Whitefish Lake and Flathead Lake mainly for lake trout. We are having success bouncing a 3-inch white tub jig off the bottom.

While we are still in runoff season, stay up to date on river flows here.
