Wow! A lot has changed since our last report, and for the better… Literally all of our guided rivers are fishing right now. Although we had a decent snow pack in most of our drainages, the lack of rain this spring has brought all our rivers into great fishing shape earlier than usual.
Our local Flathead is sitting around 13000 CFS. Absolutely prime late spring conditions. There is great dry fly actionout there right now. Both big foam stonefly variety and/or mayfly stuff, purple haze, etc… if you’re out a little early in the day, drop a nymph below your big bug to stir up some scrappy trout.

Missouri River Fishing Report
The Missouri River dropped a fair amount this week…. then went back up a little. It is sitting around 4800 cfs. Low for this time of year.. but the PMDs (pale mourning dun) are out in force.
An amazing amount of dry fly targeting from 10 am on. We usually put on early nymph a bit then switch to the dry fly.
Corn fed caddis and a hellen Keller pmd will do the trick!

Blackfoot River Fishing Report
The Blackfoot is around 1800 CFS, and salmonflies are out!
We had guide boats on there this week. From noon on, solo salmon fly chugs the rest of the day.
Get it in on the Blackfoot while you can! Unfortunately, this drainage is going to get low quick unless we get rain…

Clark Fork River Fishing Report
The Clark Fork is at an even 10k CFS and absolutely on fire. Our guide reports from down there are pretty special right now. If you’re in town, give us a call; it will be well worth it!
