Flathead River Fishing Report
We are smack dab in the middle of our busiest time of year and still coming at you with some great reports!
So far, the weather has been throwing us a bone. Every time we think about it being too hot for too long, we get a little rain and a cool down. This week was no different.
We just had an awesome rainstorm over the last 24 hours. This is so good for all our fisheries, especially when we’re dealing with a bit of low water. Mother Nature has been providing!
The Flathead River overall has still been producing good days. A big percentage of our trips this time of year are beginner anglers, and everyone is still finding fish! A great spot to come catch your first fish on a fly rod. Or if you’re an experienced angler … an even better spot to come test your skills on these native cutthroat willing to rise to a dry fly.

Clark Fork River Fishing Report
Even with the cool down for the Clark Fork River, we are still practicing — get on early and get off early. The water temps down there are pretty darn warm in the afternoon. But with a super early meet, it’s honestly still our overall best option for some bigger fish.
We go early and keep the fish wet this time of the year. Also, there is some fun smallmouth bass action happening down there right now!

Missouri River Fishing Report
We have had a couple of boats on the Missouri this week. The guests were super happy and had lots of success! There are trico mayflies out if you want to try your hand casting a techy dry fly. Or the sub-surface nymphing game has been good. It’s a bit of a battle with some weeds, but well worth it!
Thanks everyone!
Stay bent!!
