Flathead River | Swan River
We are still smack dab in the middle of our run-off season. But so far we have been blessed with perfect gradual snow melt. This has made for fishable conditions on our local rivers. Since our last report, the go-to rig has changed to a dry dropper. Your favorite chubby or salmon fly size 8,10,12 with a rubber legs dropped below or lots of our guides having success with any variations of pt tungsten jigs as your dropper. And yes the chubby isn’t just a bobber it is getting eaten!!!
So get out there with your good vibes and rise one up!!

We also offer half and full-day trips on both Whitefish Lake and Flathead Lake mainly for lake trout. We are having success bouncing a 3-inch white tub jig off the bottom.

Missouri River
The river has been hovering just below 6 grand CFS for 10 days or so. They started dropping it in the last 3 days, and it was around 4 grand this morning.
Well, what we all have been waiting for…. The PMD has arrived! The mega hatch hasn’t kicked in yet but the bugs are consistent daily. Being the beginning of the hatch the size of the bug is large. We have been nymphing in the a.m. stacking some fish, then turning in the indicator rods for our fun casting dry fly rigs. If you can find a happy fish he will eat it!
Also, today we fished a dry fly blind for a couple of hours targeting super shallow quick water and rose a couple of good ones.
