December 15th fishing report from the east of the mountains is sounding sooooo good. Midge bite when you’re looking and outstanding nymphing in the warm hours of the day.
Plus if you can gain some access or find some public around the river… hop out of the boat for a second and try to flush up a beautiful ringneck pheasant. Yummy pheasant tacos! Cast and blast baby!
We have been busy in the sausage kitchen. Making summer sausage, cutting and trimming all the elk and deer we got this season! Great snacks to have on the river!
The weather has been crazy mild in the Flathead area. Things went from winter backward to fall again. Although we need the snow, it’s hard to wish away these amazing late-season days! What a perfect time to get on the water for the holiday season! We got guides willing and able.. give us a shout for a half-day trip!
